The Lenape Valley Foundation Crisis Center (LVFCC), also known as “The Lodge”, is a 16,000 Sq.Ft. behavioral health facility located on the grounds of Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. The Lodge will be used for three clusters of activity: Outpatient Services, a Crisis Walk-in and Call Center, and a Crisis Residential program.
The Outpatient Services provides facilities for outpatient therapy sessions (both individual and group sessions) and physician appointments. Spaces include a Large Meeting Room with operable partition, a Group Room, 16 Therapist/Supervisor Offices and other support spaces.
The Crisis Walk-In and Call Center provides the headquarters the mobile crisis team and will receive incoming calls from throughout Bucks County. Three private Interview Rooms provide safe, comfortable spaces for those in crisis.
The Crisis Residential wing is a 12 bed voluntary unit designed for individuals to stay for 5 days with the potential for a 5 day extension. Private bedrooms are complimented with shared common spaces filled with natural light, cathedral ceilings with wood trusses, and an indoor/outdoor fireplace between the Living Room and Outdoor Patio. The Residential wing provides a save environment with a comforting home-like atmosphere, challenging typical notions of a mental health facility.
